DALLAS, TX – One person died and two others were rushed to the hospital following an early-morning crash in south Dallas on Monday.
According to a report by WFAA, the crash occurred at about 5:10 a.m. within the 3100 block of Simpson Stuart Road.
Police say one vehicle collided with the rear of another before rolling down an embankment and striking several trees. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
Two people in the second vehicle were hospitalized with non-life-threatening injuries. it is unclear if anyone in the third vehicle was hurt.
Investigators believe speed may have played a role in the fatal crash.
