GREENVILLE, TX – A 17-year-old died last Thursday after a dirt car racing accident near Greenville.
According to Wylie News, The teen was participating in an exhibition race at Superbowl Speedway when his vehicle struck a wall and overturned.
Medical personnel was able to pull the victim from his vehicle as began to catch fire. He was flown to Parkland Hospital in Dallas, where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
No other injuries were reported as a direct result of the wreck.
