BALCH SPRINGS, TX – A truck driver died after his 18-wheeler was involved in a fiery accident Friday in Balch Springs, KDFW reports.

It happened as the driver was on the northbound lanes of Interstate 635 and getting off at the exit for Elam Road.

Officials said the truck crashed into the fence of a home and went up in flames.  The identity of the victim was not released.

There was no immediate word on what may have caused the accident.
