FORT WORTH, TX – Police in Fort Worth said a car and a tow truck were involved in a fatal collision early Monday morning.
According to WFAA, the accident took place on I-35 at the entrance ramp to U.S. 287 at about 2:20 a.m.
Investigators said a car collided with a tow truck hauling a vehicle. Two people who were trapped inside the car were pronounced dead at the scene. No one else was injured.
The ramp from I-35W to U.S. 287 was closed to traffic for over six hours while the crash scene was being cleared. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
