ARLINGTON, TX – Police said an SUV accident on Interstate 20 in Arlington Wednesday night left a 29-year-old driver dead.

According to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram, a woman was driving a GMC Yukon near the 2500 block of I-20 eastbound when the crash occurred at about 11:30 p.m.

Investigators said the driver was in the far left lane when she suddenly veered right and went across all lanes of the interstate for an unknown reason.  The SUV collided with a guardrail and struck a concrete bridge pillar.

The woman, whose identity was not yet released, was pronounced dead at the scene. She was the only person in the vehicle.

Arlington police are trying to determine what caused the wreck.
