DALLAS, TX – Three people were killed and two more were injured following a collision in northwest Dallas Friday night, reports NBC FW.

According to witnesses at the scene, a Ranger Rover collided with a Chevrolet Tahoe on the 300 block of W Mockingbird Ln shortly after midnight.

The force of the impact sent the Tahoe airborne and crashing into a building, and pushed the Range Rover into multiple telephone poles. The Range Rover then caught fire.

All three occupants of the Tahoe were pronounced dead at the scene. The two people inside the Range Rover were hospitalized in stable condition.

The incident is under investigation by the vehicular crimes unit of the Dallas Police. They have not yet determined whether they will charge anyone in relation to the accident.
