WICHITA FALLS, TX – A young child died Monday from injuries sustained in a wrong-way crash in Wichita Falls last week.
According to a report by KFDX, the crash occurred on July 21st at bout 3:30 p.m. near the intersection of Martin Luther King Boulevard and Wichita Street.
Witnesses told police a white Dodge Charger was heading the wrong way on a one-way street when they ran through the intersection crashed into a grey Audi.
The Audi slammed into the passenger side of the Dodge. A 3-year-old boy in the Dodge was not properly secured and suffered critical injuries in the crash.
The child was taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center, where he died on Monday night.
No other injuries were reported as a direct result of the crash.
