ARLINGTON, TX – A man was killed following a motorcycle crash in Arlington early Monday morning.
According to a report by NBC DFW, the incident occurred at about 12:23 a.m. within the 5400 block of South Cooper Street.
Responding officers say the 59-year-old motorcyclist was traveling south when he struck a vehicle that was attempting to turn left onto Green Oaks Boulevard.
The man suffered serious injuries after being thrown from the bike. He was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he died a short time later.
No other injuries have been reported as a result of the crash.
Investigators believe the motorcyclist may have run a red light prior to the incident.
