TERRELL, TX – Eight people were hospitalized following a multi-car collision on I-20, near FM 429 Saturday evening, according to NBC DFW.
At around 6 p.m., a pickup truck rear-ended a Kia Optima. The impact launched the truck into the air. It struck Chevy Equinox as it landed back on the road.
The four occupants of the pickup truck were hospitalized at Baylor University Medical Center. Of those four, one was in critical condition.
One person in the Optima was hospitalized at UT Health. The other three occupants were taken to Methodist Dallas Medical Center. One of the three transported to Methodist Dallas Medical Center was in critical condition.
Officials have not yet released the names of the victims.
