LITTLE ELM, TX – One person died and another was injured after a boat collided with rocks under the Little Elm Bridge on Sunday night, Star Local Media reports.

Six people were aboard the boat when it crashed into the rocks under the Little Elm Bridge, also known as the Lewisville Lake Toll Bridge, and ejected the occupants.

Emergency crews responded to the bridge after receiving calls concerning the accident at around 11:45 p.m. They pronounced one person dead at the scene from a head injury and hospitalized another person.

Authorities have not yet released the name of either victim. The incident is under investigation by the Texas Parks and Wildlife game wardens.
