BOYD, TX – A 33-year-old man was killed Thursday night following a multi-vehicle crash in Boyd.

According to a report by the Wise County Messanger, police responded to the collision along TX-114 at about 6:35 p.m.

Police say the driver of a 2014 GMC towing a trailer, Jarrid Hendon, lost control of his truck for unknown reasons and clipped a 2018 Volvo.

The GMC then crashed through a fence before becoming to rest against a roadside tree. Hendon suffered fatal injuries in the wreck.

None of the three occupants in the Volvo were injured as a result of the crash.

The precise location of the crash is not mentioned in the report.
