KAUFMAN COUNTY, TX – An accident involving a box truck in Kaufman County left a driver dead, KRLD reports.

The crash took place Tuesday night on Interstate 20 east of Terrell. According to investigators, the driver was going east on I-20 when the box truck went off the freeway and crashed into a grassy area.

The vehicle went up in flames after catching fire from the exhaust. The driver, whose identity was not released, was found dead in the cab of the truck.
