GARLAND, TX – Police in Garland said a motorcyclist died following a collision with a box truck on Monday night.
Police tweeted details of the incident that occurred on Interstate 30 east near Bobtown Road at about 6 p.m.
Investigators said the box truck and motorcycle were both headed east on the interstate when they collided near the exit. The motorcycle rider was transported to an area hospital and was pronounced dead. The victim’s identity was not immediately released. No other injuries were reported.
I-30 east was shut down near the scene while the crash was being cleared and investigated.
