DALLAS, TX – A car accident near a reservoir in Dallas over the weekend left one person dead and three others injured, reports WFAA.
The crash occurred early Saturday on Garland Road near White Rock Lake at about 2:30 a.m. Police said a male juvenile lost control of a car while driving at a high rate of speed heading west on Garland Road. The vehicle slammed into a light pole near San Rafael Drive.
The driver was pronounced dead at the scene. Three other juveniles who were in the car were taken to an area hospital, where two of them were listed in critical condition and the other was in stable condition.
Police are investigating the cause of the crash.
