DALLAS, TX – A source told the Dallas Morning News that Dallas Cowboys owner Jerry Jones was involved in a minor car accident on Wednesday evening.
The incident happened in the area of Harry Hines Boulevard and Wolf Street at about 8 p.m. Dallas police said a collision occurred when one driver failed to yield and turned in front of another vehicle. It was not yet clear which of the vehicles Jones was in.
The 79-year-old Jones was transported to Parkland Hospital as a precautionary measure and was reported to be resting at home by late in the evening after being discharged. His son, Cowboys executive vice president Stephen Jones, was quoted as saying that Jerry Jones will be fine and “is all good.”
No further details were immediately released on the circumstances surrounding the accident.
