COLLIN CO., TX – Two people were killed and three children were hospitalized following a head-on crash in Collin County Sunday morning.

According to a report by NBC DFW, the incident occurred on FM-6, about a mile west of downtown Nevada.

Investigators believe one vehicle crossed the center divider for unknown reasons and slammed head-on into the other.

One of the drivers involved, 19-year-old Benjamin Andrus, was pronounced dead at the scene. The other driver, 27-year-old Amanda Willoughby, died at the hospital a short time later.

Willoughby’s daughters, 7-year-old twins, and a 4-year-old, were all taken to Dallas Children’s Medical Center for treatment.
