DALLAS, TX – A woman was killed and two others were injured following a suspected DWI crash near downtown Dallas last Friday night.
According to a report by WFAA, a Jeep crashed into the rear of a FedEx truck in the southbound lanes of I-345, near the Ross Avenue exit.
All three occupants in the Jeep, three women, were rushed to a nearby hospital. One of the women succumbed to her injuries a short time later. She has since been identified as Dalancea “Armoni” Cox.
The circumstances leading up to the crash are unclear at this time. The driver of the Jeep, 21-year-old Aspin LaShawn Jackson, is facing intoxication manslaughter charges in connection to the crash.
The driver of the FedEx truck was reportedly uninjured.
