GRAND PRAIRIE, TX – Police in Grand Prairie said a hit-and-run driver struck and killed a bicycle rider on Friday night.

According to KDFW, a man on a bicycle was hit by a Honda while riding in the 2500 block of W. Jefferson Street at about 9:30 p.m. The bicyclist, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead after being taken to an area hospital.

Police said the driver who hit the victim left the scene without stopping to help. The car involved was later found at a residence and the driver was identified and arrested.

The suspect, 30-year-old Juan Robledo-Delgado, was charged with suspicion of accident involving personal injury or death.
