CLEBURNE, TX – A woman died after her vehicle was hit by a dump truck in Cleburne, police said.
WFAA reports the accident took place Wednesday afternoon on FM 4 near East 2nd Street at about 1:15 p.m.
The woman, identified as 27-year-old Christina Johnson, was driving an SUV eastbound while a a dump truck was going in the opposite direction. Police said that as Johnson began to turn into a driveway, her vehicle was struck on the passenger side by the dump truck.
Johnson was pronounced dead at the scene. The dump truck driver was not seriously injured.
The cause of the crash remains under investigation.
