RICHARDSON, TX – Police are investigating a fatal car accident that took place Sept. 24 on a highway in Richardson.

According to CBS DFW, 29-year-old Trey Bradshaw was killed in the wreck on President George Bush Turnpike near Independence Parkway.

Investigators determined that Bradshaw was racing another vehicle while going east on the turnpike at about 4 p.m. when he lost control of his car and crashed into a metal guardrail.

Bradshaw was pronounced dead at the scene. No other injuries were reported.
