PLANO, TX – A driver was rushed to the hospital after a tractor-trailer slammed into an overpass in Plano early Thursday morning.
According to the Plano Star Courier, the incident occurred at about 5:16 p.m. along Sam Rayburn Tollway at the Ohio Drive overpass.
Plano Fire-Rescue says the 18-wheeler and attached trailer crashed into the overpass. It took emergency crews over 45-minutes to extricate the driver, who was subsequently rushed to Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital for treatment.
It is unclear if anyone else was injured as a result of the crash.
