DALLAS, TX – A collision at a Dallas intersection Sunday morning sent one of the drivers to the hospital, NBC DFW reports.

The accident occurred in the vicinity of Bruton Road and Buckner Boulevard just after 3 a.m.  Dallas police said a woman driving a Buick Encore SUV ran a red light and collided with a Chevy Cruze that had a green light at the intersection. The impact sent the Chevy into a nearby parking lot, while the Buick ended up hitting a fence.

The 41-year-old woman who was driving the Buick was hospitalized with what were reported to be internal injuries.  A 21-year-old man was driving the Chevy with two 21-year-old women in the back seat.  No other injuries were reported in the wreck.
