DENTON, TX – A driver was injured in a two-car collision on the part of I-35E between Mayhill Rd and Loop 288 Thursday. according to NBC DFW.

Fire crews were dispatched to the accident around 5 a.m. They rescued the pickup truck driver who was trapped in the wreckage.

The driver was hospitalized in serious condition. No one else was hurt in the incident.

No information is available concerning the cause of the collision.
