FORT WORTH, TX – Police say a driver was killed in a single-vehicle crash in Fort Worth Sunday morning, the Fort Worth Star-Telegram reports.

The incident took place in the vicinity of Interstate 35W and Allen Avenue at about 2 a.m. According to police, the driver was trying to exit the highway when the vehicle struck a barrier and crashed into a cement pillar.

The victim, whose identity was not released, was pronounced dead at the scene. Fort Worth Police are investigating the wreck.
