DALLAS, TX – Two people were injured when a driver trying to evade police officers plowed into a Dallas restaurant on Monday, reports WFAA.
Dallas police said the incident took place on Martin Luther King Jr. Boulevard, where the driver of a stolen vehicle noticed police officers behind the vehicle at a stop light just before 10:50 a.m.
The driver took off before losing control of the vehicle while making a turn and crashing into DJ Blackjack Pizza. The suspect and a worker at the restaurant were taken to an area hospital but were not believed to be seriously injured.
Dallas police are continuing their investigation into the incident.
