DALLAS, TX – A man and a woman were killed when their car crashed in southwest Dallas early Friday morning, the Dallas Morning News reports.
According to the Dallas County Sheriff’s office, 78-year-old Eliane Morrison was driving on Interstate 20 near the exit for Highway 67 when she lost control of her vehicle and veered off the road. The car slammed into a bridge support pillar at about 12:30 a.m.
Morrison was pronounced dead at the scene, while a male passenger, identified as 21-year-old Nicholas Marchant, died after being rushed to an area hospital.
Sheriff’s deputies are trying to determine the cause of the wreck.
