GREENVILLE, TX – One person died and another was critically injured following a head-on-collision on southbound Texas 34 Saturday, Yahoo reports.
According to the Department of Public Safety, Lance Nelson, 22, was driving a Ford Mustang on southbound Texas 34. Nelson failed to navigate a curve near FM 2101 properly and struck a northbound Dodge Magnum.
The two drivers were both airlifted to a nearby hospital. Nelson would die there from his injuries. The other driver involved was in stable condition as of Monday.
Officials have not released the name of the other driver at this time.
