DALLAS, TX – Police are asking for help in identifying a suspect from a deadly hit-and-run collision that took place in central Dallas last month, reports CBS DFW.

The incident occurred around 3 a.m. on July 11 in the 900 block of Botham Jean Blvd, when a person driving a Chevrolet Silverado ran over a group of people, killing one and injuring many others. The exact number of victims injured in the incident is unclear at this time.

Police describe the suspect as a Hispanic male in his 20’s. He is around 5 feet 7 inches tall and has a slim build. At the time of the collision, he was seen wearing dark jeans and a white t-shirt.

Also in the Silverado at the time of the crash was another male wearing dark clothes and a female wearing a strapless, tie-dye dress.

Following the crash, the suspect and the other two occupants of the truck fled the scene on foot.

Police believe one of the people in the Silverado may have been involved in a disturbance prior to the hit-and-run.

Anyone with any knowledge concerning the event is urged to contact law enforcement.
