DALLAS, TX – Police said a man was struck and killed by two separate vehicles on a roadway in Dallas Saturday morning.

The incident took place along 3000 Fort Worth Avenue at about 1:00 a.m., according to NBC DFW.

A man was hit there by a vehicle of unknown make or model, and was thrown into the middle lane of the road. After witnesses tried to help, the victim was struck again by a red Chevy Cruz.  The man was pronounced dead at the scene.  His identity was not immediately released.

Both drivers involved left the scene of the crash without stopping to help, police said.
