DALLAS, TX – Authorities said a car accident claimed the life of a man who was visiting Dallas for a football game, according to NBC DFW.

29-year-old Aaron Tschritter, a realtor from Chilliwack BC in Canada, had planned to attend the Dallas Cowboys game against the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving Day.  Police said he and another man were in a BMW sedan that was involved in a crash in the 1600 block of South Good Latimer Expressway Thursday morning at about 2:16 a.m.

The car slammed into a building and an electric pole, and then caught fire.  Tschritter and the other man sustained fatal injuries.  The name of the other man has not been released.

Tschritter had been reported missing since Thursday, and his wife said he was last seen leaving a nightclub in Deep Ellum.
