FORT WORTH, TX – A pedestrian accident in Fort Worth Sunday left a mother and three children hospitalized, police said.

According to WFAA, the incident took place in the area of McCart Avenue and Sycamore School Road at about 5:40 p.m.

Two vehicles collided, with the impact sending one of the vehicles toward a median where it struck the four victims as they were trying to cross the street.

The three children were taken to Cook Children’s Medical Center, where two of them were reported to be in critical condition. The mother was also in critical condition at another area hospital.
