FORT WORTH, TX – An accident in Fort Worth left a motorcycle rider dead and his passenger injured, according to KRLD.

The crash occurred on Highway 287 near Mitchell Boulevard Sunday evening at about 6:15 p.m.

Police said 34-year-old Darrik Frohm of Fort Worth was driving a motorcycle south on the highway when he crashed into another vehicle. Frohm and his passenger were ejected from the bike.

Frohm was pronounced dead after being taken to John Peter Smith Hospital, while the passenger was seriously injured.

There was no immediate word on what caused the accident.
