FT. WORTH, TX – A man suffered fatal injuries after being struck by a passenger train in south Fort Worth on Wednesday afternoon.

According to a report by the Star-Telegram, the man was struck at about 3:15 p.m. while standing on the tracks in the 2300 block of Cunningham Street.

Investigators are working to find out why the man got into the path of the train.  No other injuries were reported as a result of the crash.
