DALLAS, TX – Police said one person was killed in a pedestrian accident in Old East Dallas on Sunday morning.

WFAA reports the victim was found dead near Interstate 30 and South Carroll Avenue shortly before 3 a.m.

The pedestrian, who was not identified, had been struck by at least one vehicle. One driver remained at the scene and was reported to be cooperating with the investigation, according to the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
