DALLAS, TX – A suspect has been identified following a deadly hit-and-run crash that occurred in Dallas last Friday, according to the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.

This is an update to a previous story.

Dallas police said the man they are looking for is Faustino Membreno Rivera. Investigators said he was driving a GMC Sierra at a high speed in the wrong direction, going south in the northbound lane of Esperanza Road. The GMC Sierra collided head-on with a Chevrolet Equinox SUV, killing the 16-year-old driver of the SUV and a 15-year-old passenger who were siblings.

Rivera fled the scene on foot after the crash without stopping to help, police said. He was described
as a heavy-set man, possibly in his 40s, who was last seen wearing a light-colored shirt and pants at the scene.

Anyone with information about the case was asked to contact Dallas police.
