FORT WORTH, TX – A woman walking along railroad tracks in Fort Worth was hit by a train early Wednesday morning, reports the Fort Worth Star-Telegram.
Police, firefighters and paramedics arrived at the scene in the area of West Seminary Drive and Hemphill Street after being notified of the incident at about 4:30 a.m.
The victim was found on the north side of the Seminary Street bridge and was transported to John Peter Smith Hospital in Fort Worth. The woman, whose identity was not released, was listed in critical condition.
