DALLAS, TX – A truck driver died after he was ejected from his 18-wheeler during an accident in Dallas Wednesday night.

According to NBC DFW , the truck crashed on Interstate 45 on a bridge over Interstate 30 shortly before 1o p.m.  The driver was thrown from the semi and was found dead on the eastbound lanes of I-30.  The victim’s identity was not immediately released.  No other injuries were reported.

Road closures resulting from the wreck affected traffic in the area until lanes reopened over three hours later.  Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
