CARROLLTON, TX – Police in Carrollton have released the identity of the man killed in a street racing crash on Tuesday night.
According to a report by WFAA, the accident occurred at about 7:45 p.m. when 19-year-old Carlos Alfredo Alas Rivera lost control of his vehicle at a high rate of speed within the 2600 block of Trinity Mills Road
Police say Rivera had been racing with another driver when the accident occurred. The other person remained at the scene and cooperated with the police.
Rivera, who was the only person in the vehicle, suffered fatal injuries in the crash.
