CEDAR HILL, TX – Authorities have identified the victim of a crash at a Cedar Hill hair salon on Saturday morning, CBS DFW reports.

The person killed was 54-year-old Janet Hutchins of DeSoto, according to police. She was struck by a vehicle that slammed into the Great Clips salon building on East FM 1382 at about 9 a.m.

Hutchins was found unresponsive and died of her injuries. The driver stayed at the scene and was then hospitalized with injuries that were not life-threatening.

Cedar Hill police continue to investigate the incident and ask anyone with further information to contact them.
