DALLAS, TX – Police say a driver was arrested in connection with a fatal crash in North Dallas Sunday night.
According to the Dallas Morning News, 26-year-old Madison Rinehart has been charged with driving while intoxicated. Police said she was behind the wheel of an SUV that collided with a motorcycle in the 4300 block of Trinity Mills Road at about 9:50 p.m.
The high-speed collision caused the SUV to flip and the man who was riding the motorcycle became lodged in the vehicle, police said. The motorcyclist was pronounced dead at the scene. His name has not yet been released. Rinehart was taken to an area hospital for treatment, and was then arrested and taken to the Dallas County Jail.
