DALLAS, TX – A SUV fatally struck the driver of a tow truck on the exit ramp from I-635 to the Central Expy on Monday, according to Fox 4 News.

The tow truck driver had his emergency flashers on and was attendinging to a disabled car when it was struck from behind by an SUV. The impact sent the tow truck driver over a railing. He fell 50 ft to the road below and was then struck by multiple cars.

Emergency crews responded to the accident around 10 p.m. and pronounced the man dead at the scene.

Police have charged the driver with intoxication manslaughter.
