DALLAS, TX – One woman was killed after her SUV slammed into a tree in the Casa Linda area early Saturday morning.

According to the Dallas Morning News, the accident occurred at about 4 a.m. within the 1300 block of North Buckner Boulevard, near the intersection with Garland Road.

Police say the unidentified female driver lost control of her SUV for unknown reasons and crashed into the tree, causing it to burst into flames.

The woman was trapped inside her vehicle and suffered fatal injuries as a result. No other injuries were reported.
