DALLAS, TX – A woman leaving a Walmart store in Dallas Friday night was fatally struck by a vehicle,
NBC DFW reported.
Police said the woman was pushing a shopping cart across the street in the area of Clark Road when she was hit by a Ford Focus sometime before 9:40 p.m.
The victim, whose name was not released, was pronounced dead later. The driver involved was reported to have stopped at the scene to cooperate with investigators.
Dallas police are continuing to investigate the incident.
