ARLINGTON, TX – Police are investigating a hit-and-run incident in Arlington last week that killed a woman on a bicycle.

CBS DFW reports the crash took place in the 1100 block of S. Collins Street near Hensley Street Wednesday night at about 11 p.m. The victim was riding a bicycle across Collins Street when she was struck by a southbound vehicle, according to Arlington police.

The woman, whose identity was not immediately released, was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver involved kept going without stopping to help.

Police were searching for surveillance video that might help them track down the driver.
