PLANO, TX –  A woman was rushed to the hospital after being struck by a vehicle driver by her husband outside of a Plano craft store on Saturday.

According to a report by the Plano Star Courier, the incident was reported at about 9:17 a.m. outside of the Michaels craft store on West 15th Street.

Investigators believe the driver of an unspecified vehicle accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes and crashed into the front of the store, seriously injuring his wife, who was standing outside.

The woman was transported to Medical City Plano for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. Other victims refused treatment at the scene.
