RICHARDSON, TX – A wrong-way accident in Richardson early Saturday morning left both drivers dead, investigators said.

The Dallas Morning News reports the crash took place on the President George Bush Highway near Jupiter Road at about 4:30 a.m.

The Texas Department of Public Safety said the driver of a Buick sedan was going west in the highway’s eastbound lanes and crashed head-on into a Honda sedan.

The two drivers were pronounced dead at the scene. The Honda driver was identified as 41-year-old Michael James Jackson of Wylie while 23-year-old Jennifer Trujillo Cota of Royse City was driving the Buick.

The DPS is continuing its investigation into the wreck.
