DALLAS, TX – Investigators believe a wrong-way driver was responsible for a fatal collision in Dallas early Saturday morning, according to KDFW.
The accident happened on Interstate 35 near Colorado Boulevard at about 2 a.m. According to police, a 32-year-old man was driving a Mazda CX-5 on I-35 in the wrong direction, and collided head-on with a Chevy Impala driven by a 39-year-old woman.
The man was pronounced dead after being transported to an area hospital. The woman was hospitalized in stable condition.
The crash remains under investigation by the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office.
