DALLAS, TX – A search is underway for the driver responsible for a pedestrian accident in Dallas early Sunday morning.
According to WFAA, a pedestrian was struck by a dark-colored SUV while crossing in the area of Cole Avenue and Blackburn Street at about 12:10 a.m. The driver was going northbound in the southbound lanes of Cole Avenue at the time of the crash, police said.
The victim was taken to an area hospital and was listed in critical condition.
Police are looking for the driver involved and the vehicle, which likely has damage to its front end. Anyone with information regarding the incident was asked to contact the Dallas Police Vehicle Crimes Department.
