DALLAS, TX – A multi-vehicle wreck in Dallas early Monday morning left one person dead, reports WFAA.
The Dallas County Sheriff’s Office said four vehicles were involved in the incident in the eastbound lanes of Interstate 30 near Dolphin Road at about 2 a.m. It happened after a Chevrolet Malibu stalled out in the left lane. The Malibu was hit by a box truck, which was then struck by a pickup truck. A sedan collided with the pickup. The pickup truck driver left the scene after the crash, police said.
The identity of the person who was killed was not released.
I-30 was closed to traffic for several hours while the scene was being cleared, causing major traffic delays.
