DALLAS, TX – Police said two people died after a car accident in Dallas Tuesday night, reports the Dallas Morning News.
Officers responded to the scene in the area of Eagle Ford Drive and Belt Line Road in The Woods neighborhood, after the crash was reported at about 9 p.m.
Investigators determined that the driver of a Nissan SUV failed to yield at a stop sign at Eagle Ford Drive while trying to make a left turn. A Lincoln sedan going north on Belt Line Road collided with the driver’s side of the SUV.
The driver and a passenger in the Nissan were pronounced dead at the scene. Their names were not immediately released. The driver of the Lincoln and another passenger in the Nissan, a juvenile, were hospitalized in stable condition.
